Free Chipotle Birthday Reward 2026

Chipotle Rewards gives members a special birthday offer — typically free chips and guacamole or a similar complimentary item — during their birthday month. While Chipotle's birthday reward is more modest than some competitors, combined with Chipotle's high-quality ingredients and relatively high price point, it's a meaningful perk for regular Chipotle customers.

Claiming Your Chipotle Birthday Reward

Join Chipotle Rewards through the Chipotle app or at chipotle.com. Create an account and add your birthday information — this is mandatory for the birthday reward to activate. During your birthday month, a special offer appears in your rewards section. Currently, the standard birthday offer is free chips and guacamole (a $4-$5 value) with any entrée purchase. Orders must be placed through the Chipotle app or website for the reward to apply automatically.

Chipotle Rewards — Regular Perks

Beyond the birthday reward, Chipotle Rewards earns 10 points per dollar spent. Points redeem starting at 1,250 points for a free side or kids item, up to 4,250 points for a free lifestyle bowl. New members receive a welcome offer upon sign-up. Chipotle runs frequent 'Extras' bonus point challenges — completing specific actions (ordering a specific item, visiting during certain hours) earns bonus points toward free food faster. The app's Rewards section shows active Extras challenges.

Maximizing Chipotle Rewards Value

Chipotle's free item structure rewards frequent visitors most. If you order Chipotle weekly, you'll earn free items every 2-3 months through regular point accumulation. Stack birthday rewards with bonus point Extras challenges — if a birthday-month Extras challenge aligns with your regular order, you can earn a free birthday guacamole plus accelerated points toward a free entrée. Chipotle also runs annual National Burrito Day and similar promotion days with free items or deep discounts for app users.
